I have created a script to enumerate and edit ini files. I have successfully compiled it with zip2exe and can populate the TreeView by dropping the ini file on the executable script or adding the path and file to the command line in a shortcut. I am having trouble getting the hang of creating the nodes under the same section. My script assumes that keys under the same section are in different identical ones. This results in each section having multiple nodes instead of all of the keys for one section under that section. Could I possibly get some help in what I am doing wrong so I can correct the issue and complete my script with the rest of the bells and whistles. The script is fully functional in its current state in lieu of the problem with the sections as described above.

Give this a shot, it seems to work for me. At least for the population part. I mostly just changed Populate() a bit so that it only creates a new section when it encounters one.

Thanks for the quick response. I appreciate it very much. I will continue with the project. I am just getting the hang of the Treeview and how to best populate and navigate it.

No problem! Glad you're getting the hang of it.
